NCCoE Mobile Driver’s License Community of Interest Update Webinar

The NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) is hosting a Mobile Driver’s License (mDL) project update webinar. Please join us for a discussion with the new project leads Ryan Galluzzo and Bill Fisher.

The goal of this project is to work with the community to develop guidance to implement mDL. After much outreach with the mDL community, the NCCoE  is proposing three use cases as the focus for this effort.

The first use case will focus on using mDLs to meet Customer Identification Program/Know Your Customer (CIP/KYC) requirements for establishing a financial account. Follow on use cases include exploring the consumption of mDL by Government Identity Providers, and mDL use within Health Care/ePrescribe.

Each use case will focus heavily on the relying party requirements needed to integrate mDLs with business processes and identity technology stacks to realize business value. We welcome feedback from the community on this topic.

Webinar Date/Time: Tuesday, March 19, 2024 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET
