Submit Comments on New NCCoE Retail Project Descriptions

The National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) is excited to share the release of two new draft Project Descriptions for the consumer-facing/retail sector: Multifactor Authentication for e-Commerce and Securing Non-Credit Card, Sensitive Consumer Data.

These draft descriptions outline critical cybersecurity problems that are relevant to the consumer/retail sector. We are seeking your feedback on these drafts to help refine the scope of the challenges.

NCCoE cybersecurity experts will then develop a reference design to solve these challenges through collaboration with members of the consumer-facing/retail sector and vendors of cybersecurity technologies. Each project will result in a NIST Cybersecurity Practice Guide (SP 1800 series) that will detail an approach that can be used by consumer/retail sector organizations to improve their cybersecurity.

We look forward to receiving your comments!
