The National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) released its final project description, Privacy-Enhanced Identity Federation. This project will examine how privacy-enhancing technologies, leveraging market-dominant standards, can be integrated into identity federation solutions to meet the privacy objectives of users and organizations.
A Federal Register notice (FRN) has also been published, inviting technology vendors to participate in the project build. The Federal Register Notice launches a collaborative effort between NCCoE and technology companies to address cybersecurity challenges identified in the Privacy Enhanced Identity Federation project description. Participation is open to all interested organizations.
If you are interested in providing products or technical expertise to develop a reference design for this project, please take a look at the FRN for more information.
